Varsity Girls Indoor Soccer Team: The girls' indoor soccer team had a phenomenal season. Their teamwork, grit and passion led them to eventually win it all. After a strong regular season, the Lancers advanced to play East York Collegiate for a spot in the city finals. Leaside prevailed with a 2-1 victory and went on to play Sir John A Macdonald in the city championship game. The outcome of this match resulted in a 4-2 Leaside victory. Congratulations to the girls' soccer team on this excellent season!

The junior boys' basketball team had nothing short of a terrific season. Throughout, they played incredible basketball. They went undefeated during a tournament at the University of Toronto, posting a 6-0 record and winning gold. In February, they were crowned the South Region, Tier 1, champions, and advanced to the city finals. There, they faced off against Humberside. Leaside came out on top in this close game, winning by a mere two points. Congratulations on this successful season Lancers and here's to many more. Girls Hockey Team: The Leaside girls’ hockey team sported a 3-1-2 (3 wins, 1 loss and 2 ties) record in the regular season. They scored 28 goals and allowed 17. They finished the regular season at the top of Tier 1, Pool C beating out Northern on goals scored. Unfortunately, they went on to lose in the quarterfinals. Despite this difficult defeat, the Lancers still had an amazing season! Senior Boys Basketball Team: The senior boys' basketball team went 3-3 on the season. They placed fourth out of seven teams in the Tier 1 standings. They advanced to the quarterfinals where they faced off against Northern. They went on to win 74-55. In the semifinals, they played the top seed Oakwood and unfortunately lost 62-43. Even though they suffered this tough loss, they still had a phenomenal season.
